From scattered details to a record you can follow.
Use TermWitness to bring one subscriber’s details, offer terms and event history into a business workspace. This guide shows the manual and spreadsheet workflow available today.
How do I set up TermWitness?
Owners and admins add or change records. Members can view records, history and exports.
- 01
Create your business workspace
Create an account, then add your business name and contact details. A workspace is for your business team. Your subscribers do not sign in.
Create your account - 02
Add a customer or import a spreadsheet
Enter a subscriber by hand, or preview a CSV or Excel file. Match the name column and any optional email, plan label and renewal date columns before importing. A plan label does not automatically link an offer.
Download a sample CSV - 03
Save the offer terms you have
Add the price, currency, billing interval, trial details and cancellation instructions. Save the wording your business has on file. Editing creates a new version; publishing marks an internal snapshot and does not change checkout.
Read the records checklist - 04
Link a subscription and record its source
Choose the customer and offer, then choose the saved version only if you can support that link. Leave uncertain details unknown. A payment or provider reference alone does not prove consent.
Understand agreement evidence - 05
Record notices and later changes
Save the message, planned date, actual send time and delivery result reported by your existing system. Record cancellation requests and effective end dates separately. TermWitness does not send messages or cancel the subscription.
Review notice recordkeeping - 06
Review and export one customer’s records
Open the customer record to review its linked subscriptions and event timeline. Download the customer’s subscriptions, linked notices and evidence as separate CSVs. Check the original sources and any gaps before using the output.
