Every subscription has a story. Keep the record together.
TermWitness is a recordkeeping workspace for subscription businesses. Keep customer details, saved offer versions, agreement events, notices and cancellation history together, with sources and dates. Add records manually or import a CSV or Excel file, then review and export them for your team.
One careful step at a time.
Keep the original context intact. TermWitness stores what your team enters or imports and leaves unknown details for your team to review.
- 01
Add the records you have
Enter a customer or subscription by hand, or preview a CSV or supported Excel file, map columns and review the rows before import.
- 02
Save the offer details
Keep dated versions of the price, billing interval, trial, renewal type and cancellation information your business has on file.
- 03
Record what happened
Add agreement, notice, price-change and cancellation events with their dates and sources.
- 04
Review the customer record
See linked subscriptions and saved events, including their source and recorded date.
- 05
Export the records
Download customer, subscription, notice and evidence-event records as CSV for your team’s review.
Start with the information you already have.
Add and review records manually, or import a CSV or supported Excel file. Imported information stays labeled as business-supplied so it is not mistaken for evidence captured at signup.
Stripe, Shopify and PayPal syncing is not available yet. Notice records can be tracked here, but TermWitness does not send messages to subscribers.

- A provider end date and a cancellation request
What does TermWitness do?
Clear answers about the working product. Follow the setup guide →
01Who uses TermWitness?
Business owners and their staff use the workspace. Their subscribers are the subjects of the records; subscribers do not need a TermWitness account.
02Can I use it with a spreadsheet?
Yes. Preview and map a CSV, XLSX or XLS file before importing it. Files can contain up to 10,000 data rows and be up to 10 MB. The first worksheet is used. Imported information keeps its spreadsheet source label.
03Does TermWitness connect to Stripe, Shopify or PayPal?
Provider syncing is not available yet. You can enter provider references or import a spreadsheet, but adding a provider label does not connect the account or verify the record.
04Does it send renewal reminders or cancel subscriptions?
No. TermWitness stores notice records and cancellation history. Your business and its existing tools send messages and process cancellations. A scheduled notice here is a record, not an email queued for delivery.
05What can I export?
Download customers, subscriptions, notices and evidence events as separate CSV files. From a customer record, export just that customer’s subscriptions, linked notices or evidence. Each download contains up to 10,000 records.
06Does a saved offer prove that a customer agreed?
No. A saved offer records the terms your team entered. It does not prove that the terms were displayed or accepted. Keep the agreement event and its source separately, and link an offer version only when the source supports it.
07Does TermWitness guarantee legal compliance?
No. It helps your team organize and review operational records. It does not decide which laws apply or certify that a business complies. The California guide summarizes selected duties; ask qualified counsel about your situation.
