Terms & Conditions

The terms for using TermWitness’s subscription recordkeeping software.

AT A GLANCE

Your business controls its records. TermWitness organizes the information you provide. Creating an account does not start a paid subscription.

01

Who operates TermWitness

TermWitness is a software product and trading brand operated by an independent individual operator based in Pakistan, trading under the TermWitness brand. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator. TermWitness is not represented as a separately incorporated company.

These terms apply to termwitness.com and its business workspace. They cover the TermWitness software, rather than unrelated software development or consulting services. Contact details and operator information are on our contact page.

02

Your account and workspace

You must be at least 18 and have authority to use the service for your business. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details and tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

The business creating a workspace controls its records and the team members it authorizes. Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for managing that access. Your subscribers do not need their own TermWitness accounts.

03

What the service provides

TermWitness lets your team enter customer and subscription details, import supported spreadsheets, save offer versions, keep agreement and notice records, review customer histories and export CSV files. The product page describes current features and limits.

Billing-provider synchronization and subscriber notice sending are not currently available. Recording a notice does not send it. Saving an offer does not prove a customer saw or accepted it. Your business remains responsible for its communications, cancellation process and original evidence.

TermWitness provides operational recordkeeping, not legal advice, certification or a guarantee of compliance. Public guides are general information. Your business must determine its obligations with appropriate professional advice.

04

Your records and responsibilities

You retain your rights in the records you upload or enter. You authorize us to host, process and display those records only as needed to provide, secure and support the service, follow your instructions and meet legal obligations.

Only upload information you are entitled to process. Your business is responsible for appropriate notices, permissions, accuracy and retention decisions. Do not upload payment-card numbers, bank credentials, government identity documents, health information or other sensitive information the product is not designed to hold.

Keep your own originals and backups. CSV exports cover supported record types; they are not a complete backup of the workspace or a replacement for original source files. See the Privacy Policy for how account and workspace information is handled.

05

Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, fabricate evidence, infringe another person’s rights, upload malicious files, bypass access controls, access another business’s workspace, or disrupt the service. Do not describe TermWitness exports as independently verified or legally certified evidence.

06

Plans, payments and renewals

Current prices and plan differences on our pricing page are proposals. Paid checkout is not open. Signing up does not authorize a charge or start a paid subscription. We will present the price, currency, billing interval, features and cancellation terms before any paid purchase.

We plan to use Paddle as the authorized reseller and merchant of record for TermWitness subscriptions. If you buy through Paddle, the Paddle entity identified at checkout sells the subscription transaction and its buyer terms apply to that transaction. These terms govern your use of our software. We do not currently represent that live Paddle checkout is available or approved.

For an activated recurring plan, renewal dates and amounts will be shown at checkout and in the purchase confirmation. A price or material plan change will be communicated before it applies, with any notice required by law. Creating an account alone never converts it into a paid plan.

07

Cancellation and refunds

For a subscription purchased through Paddle, you can request cancellation through the Paddle customer portal linked from your purchase email or through Paddle buyer support. The effective end date should be shown in the cancellation confirmation. Contact us if you cannot access the cancellation method.

Cancelling a subscription and deleting a workspace are separate requests. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not by itself refund an earlier payment or erase records. Refund requests are handled as described in our Refund Policy. Mandatory rights remain available.

08

Availability and changes

We may maintain or update the software and its supported features. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular recovery time or a guaranteed legal outcome. Where a change materially affects an existing paid service, we will provide notice as required and explain the available options. You should retain source evidence outside the service.

09

Ending access and exporting records

You may stop using the service and request closure through our contact page. Export supported records before requesting deletion. Workspace deletion is currently handled by request, rather than an automatic self-service control.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to respond to unlawful use, a security threat or a material breach of these terms. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow an opportunity to resolve the issue. Requests to delete shared business records must come from an authorized workspace representative.

10

Software rights and liability

We retain rights in the software, brand and website content. Subject to these terms, you may use the service for your business during the period in which access is provided. This does not transfer ownership of the software or of another customer’s information.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for inaccurate information supplied by your business, your missed legal duties or losses arising from decisions made solely on the basis of a saved record. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer or other statutory rights.

11

Questions, disputes and updates

Please contact us first with an account or service concern so we can try to resolve it. These service terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, subject to any mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to you. Paddle’s transaction terms govern its payment relationship separately.

We will publish updates on this page and change the date above. Material changes affecting existing accounts will be communicated as required by applicable law. Changes do not remove rights that already arose under an earlier version.
